The MSA Chillgard 5000 Refrigerant Monitor

Monitoring of the presence of leaked refrigerant in HVAC machinery spaces is motivated by compliance, economic and safety issues. Refrigerant gas in enclosed spaces can displace oxygen and contribute to an unbreathable atmosphere. Refrigerants are costly on the economic front, and leakage needs to be replaced. Also, steadily leaking coolant would potentially result in system charge levels that harm the system's operation and efficiency.

The MSA Chillgard 5000 Refrigerant Monitor, capable of detecting refrigerant gas down to 1 ppm, is designed to track up to eight remote areas and be fully programmed to detect either a single refrigerant or a group of refrigerant gases.
